NEW PROJECT INQUIRY

Scene preparation is key and is often the most time-consuming part of a photo shoot. My assistant and I will compose an image and then prepare that space by arranging the objects to be balanced within the frame and then we’ll clean distracting items that would otherwise show in the photo (personal belongings, fingerprints, lint). Then, we’ll focus on lighting - sometimes strobes are required to provide fill light, or light may need to be reduced with the use of scrims. Our toolkit includes everything we need from tidying up a space to ensuring natural-looking lighting within the image. Our typical shoot schedule allows at least 20 minutes per frame.
